AmpDiVa Customlectibles Audio Devices

Further to the Switchinglow Project revisited, the DIY EVB for class-D tube audio amplifiers, we show the Realt Time Digital Audio Amplitude Analyzer for digital HiFi users and the Magic Voli, a vintage electronic device to be used as environmental Vu-meter or metronome. A novel study about ESL with grounded stators is also disclosed.

The inspiration for the new collection comes from the influence
of the Mughals on culture, fashion and architecture in India.
Mughals and Indian Maharajas adorned themselves with extravagant, precious and elaborate and designed jewels.
This tradition continued in India even after that the Mughals were gone.
To make these magnificent creations, we work with small and medium sized artisans as they have generations of know-how behind their art.
This ensures that our shoes are handmade and that equal attention is paid to each of them.
We believe in keeping the art of footwear making alive in Italy for generations to come.
Space Hunters

To this day, children are increasingly inclined to play in the virtual world. We want to bring back the backyard games belonging to the last generation, such as treasure hunting, through a product that belongs to the virtual imagination: controllers set in space. The game consists of two controllers: one in the hands of the commander and one in the hands of the seeker. The commander will have to hide the three aliens, located in the seeker's controller, and then click the arrows on his controller, to give directions to the seeker. Once the directions are sent, they will be immediately received by the seeker, who will follow the arrows to find the aliens and collect them in his controller.

Back to Maker Faire Rome, the extraordinary space dedicated entirely to artisans, manufacturing processes, and the digital revolution! Following the success of 2018 and 2019, Medaarch - in collaboration with WASP and Lab Mec - by popular demand, reintroduces the Center for Digital Craftsmanship for the 2023 edition of Maker Faire Rome. A 145 m² space designed as a public lounge where live demonstrations showcase how the connection between Italian craftsmanship, experimentation, and digital technology is contributing to the revival of Made in Italy, the enhancement of talents, the regeneration of territories, and the creation of an innovation ecosystem.
This space is dedicated to the new Renaissance, where one can admire high-impact and commercially successful design solutions achieved through a skillful combination of traditional processes and the use of new digital technologies.
The project's protagonists are the new artisan workshops: innovative and competitive enterprises operating in the excellence sectors of Made in Italy, such as fashion, ceramics, wood, and glass. These enterprises will guide us on a special journey into the new era of expertise, where creativity and technological innovation merge to generate large-scale innovations.
So, mark your calendars from October 20th to 22nd at Fiera Roma in the Life Pavilion. Over the three days, eight enterprises will demonstrate their processes and the ways they have chosen to use new digital tools, showing how technological solutions can already find fertile ground in Italian production chains, creating strong opportunities for manufacturing and Made in Italy talent.
There will be a chance to experience the most interesting virtual reality applications for craftsmanship, presented by Sautech, Medaarch, and Enco with the Artista project. You'll encounter the history and art of master Giuseppe Cicalese, who will create ceramic and sculptural works through live demonstrations involving 3D printing and virtual reality. You'll meet the talent of designer Marianna Capuano, who will showcase Tiffany glass works created with digital fabrication support.
You can admire wooden design pieces by master Luca Colacicco, created through digital manufacturing and designed by Medaarch. You'll witness the creation of fashion products by designer Giulia Scalera, expertly combining 3D printing processes and art couture.
Furthermore, you can discover how 3D printing can be applied to sustainable design, admiring 3D-printed ceramic objects and green furnishings from the Mediterranea collection by Medaarch.
Last but not least, Medaarch has dedicated space to professional training opportunities for students, startups, companies, and makers looking to grow through digital innovation and hands-on training based on experimentation, research, and digital innovation.
In summary, it's an immersive experience to explore the beauty and charm of Made in Italy 5.0 talent, complemented by the integration of digital technologies through which the involved companies have found a unique and innovative way to engage.
The space at Maker Faire Rome, created by Medaarch in collaboration with WASP and Lab Mac - who have provided their cutting-edge technologies for the three days (particularly, WASP brings the 40100 Clay Production and the 3MT HDP) - reproduces the structure of the Center for Digital Craftsmanship in Cava de' Tirreni, the first in Italy entirely dedicated to revitalizing Made in Italy through the digital transformation of businesses and artisans.

PlanetART, organized by the EU-funded projects GenB and BlueMissionMed, raises public awareness on the green and blue circular economy. The stand is divided into:
1) Green economy: playful program to involve young people on the bioeconomy. Games, workshops, escape rooms, reading of the book "What’s Bioeconomy?" and exhibition of bio-based products. The stand hosts artworks by artists who use residues and biomaterials.
2) Blue economy: the public can interact with the cardboard wall "Our blue treasure", to express their connection with the sea and discover how to mitigate the pollution of seas and waters. The stand features artworks by artists who use recycled plastic collected from the sea.
La giusta via

La giusta via is a game for children with the aim of teaching general knowledge and gestures. the game includes the base, a ball, blocks, and two types of cards: questions and answers. the child places the question card at the top right and the corresponding answer card at the bottom under the circular holes. from here the game is accessed and the child must create a path with the wooden blocks to get the ball (located at the top left) into the correct circular hole which corresponds to the answer to the question. if the answer is correct, green lights will turn on and there will be a positive sound, otherwise red lights will turn on.

PC Fisso Portatile – Portable Desktop

Our project consists in changing the common use of a desktop, allowing you to carry it wherever you want with the comfort of a simple backpack.
It consists precisely in mounting the hardware on a wooden fiber structure which in turn fits into a specially modified backpack to allow the use of peripherals, an integrated display with stereo sound system and which guarantees adequate cooling. In addition, thanks to a battery we were able to guarantee a desktop computer an autonomy and much greater than a laptop, of 50 hours.

ACTA is an Eco-sustainable Collection, inspired by Etruscan history, in a contemporary and genderless vision. This collection is made with the use of eco-sustainable, recycled and stock fabrics and t is also embellished with traditional hand embroideries and uses a technological processing through 3D printing. ACTA differs in inclusiveness: it abolishes the difference in size, and looks with care and attensions towards genres: genderfluid, manwear, womanwear. All garments are made to measure and in limited editions. CLO3D, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Printing take place in each phases of the creative process.

I explore alternative fields like creating an Ex-Libris Tarot deck or pregnancy ultrasounds in marquetry. I am also making furniture restoration, high-end upcycling and one-of-a-kind creations.

ArtHouse Candle

ART-HOUSE CANDLE is an innovative project about handmade candle making using modern techniques and traditional methods.
Technological tools, such as the CNC milling cutter, are used in the last phases of candle’s creation (decoration or finishing touch), in addition to the classic techniques of engraving, drawing and sculpting.
Raw materials are processed following ancient artisan techniques: the materials are melted in bain-marie, adding colours and perfumes. The basic shapes are obtained from handmade molds.
The product has some peculiarities (see the picture below) that make it stand out from other classic candles: the final fragrant wax artwork won't burn; infact it will act as a container of a smaller perfumed candle that will not only emit a pleasant scent, but also serve as a light source. Adding a small amount of water in the bowl will prevent the little candle from burning the container once it reaches the end of the wick. Doing so will preserve the wax artwork, that will last forever.

Its structure allows easy replacement of components in case of need. The students integrated adjustable suspension to ensure a comfortable ride. It is powered by two high-efficiency 350 W electric motors. The students used knowledge of electronics to implement an advanced control, which allows speed and acceleration to be regulated precisely and safely. The scooter will be equipped with a kinetic energy recovery system during braking.

Invaerso was born from a project by the Roman designer Maria Clelia Scuteri, who with this brand wants to tell her own design vision in the approach to design. The creative process, when free to express itself outside any conventional scheme, becomes an infinite flow of ideas, capable of making anything possible. The jewel is a pretext: the aspiration is to create Designs to wear; something that has the ability to leave its mark, that is beautiful to look at and unique to "experience", but at the same time that knows how to tell a story, and has its own compositional, formal, material and conceptual identity. It doesn't matter if fluid or straight lines, soft or rigid; it is the design approach that aims at a continuous and incessant research towards an evolutionary goal made up of experiments without "rules" understood as preconceptions.
"The only goal to strive for is the creation of something unexpected and unique, outside of what we consider ordinary".
How? Through the creation of a unique and complex supply chain , the result of a strong creative sensitivity capable of subverting traditional rules combined with the use of different production techniques set up in a system that is always different (including: traditional metal casting, 3d printing technology , upcycling of industrial materials, lost wax, the craftsmanship of filigree).
