Chaque pièce est unique et faite avec soin à partir de tissus récupérés. Bien que je ne fasse pas de démonstrations, je propose des patrons pour ceux qui souhaitent essayer la couture chez eux. C’est ma première participation au Maker Faire et j'espère partager ma passion et vous inspirer.

На Kyiv Maker Faire Metåfora представить свої апсайкл-вироби у різних техніках: прикраси з радіодеталей, аксесуари та елементи вбрання зі вторинного текстилю, а також декор для інтер'єру, створений із переробленого пластику. Тут можна буде пороздивлятися, доторкнутися, приміряти та придбати собі чи на подарунок якусь особливу річ зі змістом, а також поспілкуватися з авторкою про філософію проєкту, апсайкл-практику та великі плани на майбутнє. Крім цього, Настя поділиться однією зі своїх улюблених технік і проведе майстер-клас із пластикового ф'юзингу, де усі бажаючі зможуть поекспериментувати з цим медіумом і створити свій унікальний художній витвір, використовуючи звичайні поліетиленові пакетики і термопрес. Pebbles of Promise features beach glass that I have gathered from the shores of Lake Erie and transformed into unique pieces of jewelry, keychains, and other decor items. Each of these once-discarded pieces of glass have been smoothed by the rocks and waves and storms. Now encased in epoxy and paired with other personalizations, the pieces of broken glass are repurposed as a shining symbol of beauty from pain, second chances, and fresh starts. Visitors to the booth can also pick out their own favorite pieces to be added to a customized keychain or bracelet on the spot. I have also created a new line of customized resin games (chess, checkers, mancala, etc) that will be available for hands-on play.
