Take your Ham Radio Exam while at this year's Maker Faire. Technician, General and Amateur Extra Exams will be given on site; including Friday's the Maker Faire is open (please RSVP for Friday test times). Candidates younger than 18-years old will pay a reduced exam session fee of $5. Make sure you have an FRN: https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/user

VE's Of Silicon Valley
We are a group of volunteer examiners (VE's) that promote education via our love of Ham Radio and electronics. Children under 18 only pay a $5 exam fee at the time of the exam.
What Inspired You to Make This?
We've done this for several past MakerFaire's that have been in Silicon Valley; including last year at Maire Island. For some, this is their first introduction to radio and electronics; and the Maker Faire is a great environment to facilitate this experience. Take your exam! If you're a VE, volunteer for our booth!
