School is in session - time to read! I am a local children's author and I write books about bravery and courage. The Simon the Bunny series depict the warm relationship between Abby and her real life rescue bunny, Simon. Just Lo is a story of a new kid with a weird name who is bullied and teased, but ultimately, figures out a way to take pride in the name. Research shows that children who are read to and who have an extensive library are more successful in school than those without.

I am a retired elementary school teacher. Once I retired I began writing children's books, two of them featuring my granddaughter, Abby. I also volunteer as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) with foster children. My husband and I also love to travel and try and fit in as many adventures as we can!
What Inspired You to Make This?
As a retired teacher, I have always enjoyed reading to children as well as appreciating quality literature.
