Join Ryan Jenkins and friends from the Wonderful Idea for a hands-on tinkering workshop where you can slow down, play with real materials and explore the intersection between art, science and technology. We'll take inspiration from Ryan's recently released book The Tinkering Workshop and engage a hands-on collaborative build project taken straight from the pages that uses scrap cardboard, gumdrop LEDs, copper tape and other everyday supplies.

Ryan Jenkins
Ryan Jenkins runs Wonderful Idea Co. where he creates playful resources to support STEAM education. Ryan got his start as a workshop leader and exhibit maker at the Tinkering Studio at the Exploratorium. Ryan has collaborated with Tinkering School, LEGO Foundation, MIT Media Lab and more and he is the author of the new book The Tinkering Workshop.
